Aura New York ("Aura", "we") is a licensed real estate brokerage in New York. This page explains, in plain words, what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to auranewyork.com and to the forms on it.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you request a tour, ask about an apartment or contact us, we collect what you type: your name, email address, phone number, the building or apartment you are asking about, your preferred move-in date and budget, and anything you write in the message box.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites we use Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records pages visited, the device and browser used, approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached the site. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, page requested) for security.

We do not collect Social Security numbers, financial information or identity documents through this website. Rental applications are completed on the building's own application portal, which has its own privacy terms.

How we use it

• To answer your inquiry, schedule tours and follow up about apartments you asked about or similar ones.
• To share your inquiry with the leasing team and ownership of the building you asked about, so they can help you.
• To understand how the website is used and improve it.
• To meet legal, licensing and fair housing obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with: the owners and managers of the building you inquire about; service providers that run this website and our systems for us (web hosting, database, email delivery and analytics providers), who may only use it to provide those services; and authorities when the law requires it.

Links to tour booking and application portals take you to third-party services (for example Calendly and the building's application system). Their privacy policies apply once you are there.

How long we keep it

Inquiries are kept in our leasing records for as long as we have a business reason to, generally up to three years after your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law or by a lease you sign.

Your choices

• You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing hello@auranewyork.com.
• You can opt out of follow-up messages at any time by replying to any message or emailing us.
• You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the website works without them. Google also offers a browser add-on to opt out of Analytics.

Children

This website is for adults looking for a home. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Fair housing

Aura New York follows federal, state and city fair housing laws. We do not use the information you provide to discriminate on the basis of any protected characteristic. Read the New York State Fair Housing Notice.
